La parroquia exige una revisión urgente de las altas facturas de agua
Los moradores del sector San Pablo, particularmente los residentes de la calle Briones, están atravesando una crisis debido a las altas tarifas del agua. A pesar de un consumo moderado, las familias afectadas exigen una revisión urgente ante sospechas de robo del servicio y problemas técnicos.
Es importante que se tomen medidas inmediatas para asegurar que los habitantes no sufran más de estas injusticias. El acceso del agua es un derecho fundamental, y los altos costos son injustificados, afectando gravemente a más de una familia que se encuentran en diversas dificultades económicas.
Una familia de cinco miembros, que apenas pasa tiempo en su casa, ha reportado facturas que superan los 120 dólares mensuales. «No Entendemos por qué nuestras facturas son tan altas si apenas pasamos en casa. Hemos pedido una revisión, pero hasta ahora sólo hemos recibido respuestas negativas», comentó María García, una de las afectadas.
Otras familias, integradas por personas de la tercera edad odiscapacidades, enfrentan el mismo problema con facturas igualmente altas para su consumo. «Nos parece injusto pagar estas cantidades. No tenemos los medios para solventar estos costos y si no pagamos el mes siguiente nos suben las tarifas o hasta nos llegan a cortar este servicio básico», expresó Trinidad Zambrano, vecina del sector.
Los residentes han solicitado repetidamente una inspección para determinar si hay fugas de agua, fallos en el sistema de bombeo, o algún problema en las redes de distribución que estén causando estos elevados costos. Sin embargo, han sido ignoradas. «Cada vez que nos acercamos a las oficinas nos dicen que todo está en orden. Necesitamos que alguien realmente investigue que está pasando», señaló Shirley Monserrate, una de las moradoras afectadas.
La comunidad hace un llamado urgente al Municipio para que investiguen y resuelvan este problema con la mayor brevedad posible. Los habitantes necesitan una solución rápida y efectiva para evitar seguir pagando precios desproporcionados por un servicio esencial. Lasituación se ha vuelto insostenible y las familias temen quedarse sin este servicio básico.
