En el pintoresco cantón Jipijapa, la comunidad del Barrio La Aurora se encuentra sumida en una creciente preocupación debido al incremento de la inseguridad en la zona. Vecinos del sector reportan un aumento significativo en robos a viviendas, asaltos callejeros y actos vandálicos en los últimos meses. Los residentes, agobiados por la falta de medidas efectivas por parte de las autoridades locales, expresan su frustración y temor ante la escalada de eventos delictivos.
Este deterioro en la seguridad ha generado un clima de temor constante entre los residentes, quienes ahora evitan salir de sus hogares durante las horas nocturnas.
María Rodríguez, una habitante del barrio, afirmó que los moradores ya no sienten seguros ni sus propios hogares. “Han habido varios robos en la zona, y la sensación de impotencia es abrumadora. Hemos pedido ayuda a las autoridades locales, pero hasta ahora no hemos visto ninguna acción concreta», añadió.
Los moradores del Barrio denuncian la falta de presencia policial regular en la zona y señalan que, a pesar de haber presentado varias quejas y solicitudes de patrullaje, la situación no ha mejorado. «Hemos solicitado reuniones con las autoridades municipales en repetidas ocasiones, pero no hemos recibido respuestas satisfactorias. Parece que están ignorando nuestros problemas de seguridad», mencionó Juan Mendoza, residente.
Ante la creciente preocupación de la comunidad, algunos vecinos han decidido organizar comités de seguridad ciudadana para patrullar el área por cuenta propia durante las noches. Sin embargo, esta medida es vista como insuficiente y temporal, ya que la responsabilidad de mantener la seguridad debe recaer en las autoridades competentes.
La falta de respuesta ha llevado a los residentes del Barrio La Aurora a organizar una manifestación pacífica para exigir medidas inmediatas que garanticen la seguridad de la comunidad. Se espera que esta acción llame la atención de las autoridades municipales y proporcione una plataforma para que los residentes expresen sus preocupaciones directamente.
