Se ejecutó una jornada de fumigación en la ULEAM con el objetivo de perseverar la salud y bienestar de la comunidad estudiantil. La desinfección se realizó el jueves 2 de mayo después de las 2:00 pm, cuando los estudiantes ya habían desocupado las instalaciones, cancelando así las clases de las jornadas vespertinas y nocturnas, para de esa forma iniciar con la aplicación de los gases fumigantes para eliminar cualquier presencia de plagas que se encuentren en el lugar.
“No tenía idea de que hoy se iba a realizar una fumigación en la institución hasta que las clases fueron canceladas, y nos explicaron el motivo. Me alegra mucho que este tipo acciones se realicen de vez en cuando, ya que los virus y mosquitos se encuentran en todas partes constantemente”, explicó Paúl Gómez, estudiante de ingeniería eléctrica, mientras daba una caminata cerca de la zona, mirando así lo nubloso que se vislumbraba el lugar a lo lejos por la desinfección realizada.
Carla Delgado, estudiante de psicología, evidenció su agrado de los beneficios que trae para ella y sus compañeros la realización de una fumigación. “En ocasiones los mosquitos y otras plagas se encuentran presente en mi facultad, debido a que estamos a lado de un barranco un poco montañoso que causa que estemos más propensos a la infección de insectos. Me agrada saber que nos están cuidando con este tipo de acciones”, detalló Delgado con alegría en su rostro.
“Como institución buscamos salvaguardar la salud de los estudiantes ante virus, plagas u otras enfermedades que se anteponen constantemente en el diario vivir de nosotros. Es esencial ejecutar este tipo de jornadas cuando sea necesario, para de esa forma cuidar a nuestra comunidad estudiantil”, comentó Burgasi Cunalata, estudiante de la carrera de derecho, en donde forma parte de la coordinación dicha carrera.
