El mal estado de la calle Simón Bolívar en la parroquia Ayacucho del Cantón Santa Ana en la provincia de Manabí representa una verdadera piedra en el zapato para quienes habitan en sus alrededores o necesitan transitar por ahí.
Esta problemática se encuentra en un tramo bastante extenso; como sacado del viejo oeste las calles lucen polvorientas y hasta solitarias en ciertas ocasiones. El deterioro de las vías en gran parte obedece a la falta de manteamiento, este trecho día a día es testigo del transitar de cientos de vehículos.
Los agricultores como si en una pista de obstáculos se encontrasen, deber sortear los agujeros y montículos de tierra en el ejercicio de su actividad.
El sector campesino dice sentirse abandonado por las autoridades que al parecer hacen oído sordo a sus reiteradas peticiones.
La cosa pinta negra para los habitantes de la zona, necesitan trabajar para llevar el pan a la mesa y dicha situación parece no importarle a nadie más que a ellos. “A nadie le gusta vivir así, tenemos la costumbre de reunirnos con mis compadres en una banca que está en la vía, pero nos sentamos y cuando pasan los buses levantan polvo, eso es molestoso y afecta a la salud”, aseguró Filomeno Zambrano, propietario de una cancha de indor, con un tono de voz notoriamente molesto.
En el tramo Santa Ana – Peminche – la lucha, los negocios van en picada, los turistas optan por cambiar de destino para evitar sus vehículos se dañen, “mi primo venía todos los domingos a mi comedor, pero dice que para estropear su auto mejor come en otro lado”, lamentó Lenin Delgado, dueño del restaurante “Don Lenin”, mientras observaba las calles con mirada triste.
Mientras las ventas bajan como tobogán, las autoridades no dan luz verde para los trabajos de repavimentación y mantenimiento, se excusan en que el presupuesto no alcanza.
