Una vía que necesitaba atención urgente ha sido trasformada, mejorando la seguridad vial para la comunidad
El pasado miércoles 13 de mayo, a las 15H00,comenzó la reparación de una de las calles en el cantón Montecristi, en la parroquia Leónidas Proaño. Este proyecto esperado tuvo como objetivo mejorar la vía local para garantizar mejores condiciones de movilidad de los residentes.
La realización de este proyecto responde a la demanda de toda una comunidad, que ve atendidas sus preocupaciones. Sus calles se deterioraban sin recibir mantenimiento necesario; sin embargo, ahora se marca un cambio positivo tras años de desatención.
María Cevallos, moradora del sector comentó que,“este proyecto fue algo que se esperó durante varios años, me siento feliz que por fin las autoridades nosdieron respuestas a nuestras peticiones. Durante mucho tiempo tuvimos problemas que no solo dificultaba el tránsito, sino que también a la economía personal”.
“Aunque el proyecto ha sido muy esperado, su trabajo ha sido decepcionante, porque no se le dio una solución final, las calles fueron rellenadas con tierra, y en cualquier momento las lluvias las volverán a dañar”, mencionó Mónica Catagua, habitante de la zona.
Carlos García, comerciante local, mencionó,“durante varios años este inconveniente seguía afectando a la comunidad, pero finalmente se tomaron medidas concretas. Considero que los trabajos que se lleguen a dar para las próximas semanas son una oportunidad para transformar nuestra parroquia”.
La parroquia espera que los trabajos continúen en las próximas semanas con el fin de mejorar la calidad de vida. Al mismo tiempo se busca minimizar los accidentes de tránsito, que ha sido unapreocupación constante para los residentes.
