En la tarde del domingo 26 de noviembre, se jugó la segunda fecha del campeonato juvenil de la parroquia Pedro Pablo Gómez, perteneciente a Jipijapa, en donde se enfrentaron Chateros FC vs Corozo FC en el estadio Enrique “Mico” Guevara, dando como resultado la victoria de Chateros con 1-0 frente a Corozo FC.
El partido lo dominó Chateros y no dejaban que el equipo rival se acerque a su área. Pero por más que tenía el control, le costaba anotar debido a que Corozo FC dejaba pocos espacios en donde pudiera atacar.
Pese a ello, en los últimos minutos, Javier «Momo» Mendoza protagonizó una brillante jugada en el centro del campo al tocar el balón hacia Mateo Pita. Este último, con un certero pase en profundidad, encontró a Jair «Chibolo» Solís, quien no desaprovechó la oportunidad y anotó el único gol del partido.
“Recibí críticas durante el partido, pero espero que con el gol que anoté paren y empiecen a valorarme de verdad. Sé que tengo que mejorar mucho, pero este gol es un buen paso para ser uno de los mejores jugadores del torneo”, declaró Jair Solís, jugador de Chateros FC.
Alejo Vera, jugador extremo de Corozo FC expresó impotencia después de acabar el partido sin hacer goles. “Intente de todo, pero simplemente hoy no nos salieron las cosas, espero que el próximo partido lo podamos ganar y entrar a la siguiente fase”, agregó.
Con este partido Chateros llegó a los 6 puntos y es el único equipo en el torneo que está invicto. El siguiente encuentro será contra Unión Gomense y los aficionados esperan que Chateros siga con el invicto y llegue a siguiente fase.
